Newlife College came to us without a cohesive visual identity aligned to its mission of educating and empowering leaders in a changing world. The institution’s brand lacked clarity, consistency across consumer touch-points, and a unified visual voice that would resonate with today’s prospective students. The opportunity: define a bold brand system that reflects Newlife’s values, elevates its presence, and supports future growth.

TRANSFORMING THE IDEA INTO AN IDENTITY

We began by evaluating the original brand concept and identifying what was worth preserving as we guided Newlife College into a clearer, more modern direction. The goal was to enhance, not replace, the identity they had already begun to shape.

From that assessment, we built the foundation for a refined NL icon, using the core concept as inspiration. The result is a mark that feels intentional, balanced, and symbolic of the college’s mission and momentum.

With the icon established, we expanded the system into multiple logo lock-ups that brought the new brand elements to life. Each variation helped define a cohesive visual identity that is flexible, scalable, and unmistakably NewLife College.


The Become Approach
to Re-Designing the Visual Language
As strategic partners, we began by zeroing in on Newlife College’s core brand vision: academic excellence, transformative purpose, and community impact. From there, we developed a custom logo and a complementary set of iconography to symbolize the institution’s pillars. We established a flexible color palette and refined the visual tone to feel both timeless and modern. Additionally, we created consumer-ready mock-ups, showing how the brand comes alive across campus signage, digital touch-points, print collateral, and apparel. Finally, we compiled a comprehensive brand standards guide to ensure consistency as the college grows.
